A Chance in France Competition Terms and Condition
1. The Promoter
The Promoter is ESP Colour Limited, Millbuck Close, Swindon, SN2 8XU (ESP).
2. The competition
2.1. The title of the competition is A Chance in France.
2.2. The Chateau Book contains multiple spelling and grammar mistake. We have concluded how many mistakes there are, whoever spots the most spelling and grammar mistakes that match our own will win 2 tickets to a fun and festivities day at The Chateau De La Motte Husson in France as advertised on https://chateaudelamottehusson.co.uk/ including 1 night in the Dome and 1 nights’ accommodation at the Hotel Spa Perier Du Bignon in Lava. Travel to and from the Chateau and the Hotel Spa are not included. The winner must organise and pay for their own travel.
3. How to enter
3.1. The competition will run from 28/01/2019 to 28/02/2019 (the closing date) inclusive. All competition entries must be received by ESP by no later than midnight on the closing date. All competition entries received after this are automatically disqualified.
3.2. To enter the competition:
3.2.1 enter the competition online by creating an online account and submitting the online entry form provided on https://chateaudelamottehusson.co.uk/ by the closing date.
3.3. No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
3.4. ESP will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause (including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, network, equipment, hardware or software failure of any kind). Proof of transmission or posting is not accepted as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
3.5. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.6. The entries will be judged by Dick and Angel themselves. The book has been proof read multiple times to come up with the answers.
3.7. If there is more than one entry giving the highest number of errors, the winner will be drawn from those entries at random. The decision of ESP (acting reasonably) will be final.
4.1. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
4.1.1 employees of ESP;
4.1.2 employees of agents or suppliers of ESP or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
4.1.3 members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. ESP may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3. ESP will not accept competition entries that are:
4.3.1 automatically generated by computer;
4.3.2 completed by third parties or in bulk;
4.3.3 illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
4.4. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5. ESP reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
4.6. Competition entries cannot be returned.
5. The prize
5.1. The prize is 2 tickets to a fun and festivities day at The Chateau De La Motte Husson in France as advertised on https://chateaudelamottehusson.co.uk/ including 1 night in the Dome and 1 nights’ accommodation at the Hotel Spa Perier Du Bignon in Lava. Travel to and from the Chateau and the Hotel Spa are not included. The winner must organise and pay for their own travel. Due to the age of the building there will be a lot of stairs to climb, wheel chair access is not available. The room at the hotel will be a Superior room for both nights

1030. Arrival – Teas & coffee will be served
1100 – 1230. A guided tour of the chateau from the Sous Sol up 5 floors to the Grenier

1230 – 1430. Lunch in the Orangery, which means lots to eat, lots to drink and access to the Van de Vin!
1430 – 1600. Tour of the grounds the walled garden and once around the moat…
1600 – 1730. Patisseries, Tea and Coffee and a little something for the road
5.2. The prize does not include any travel that you need to get to and from the Chateau and the Hotel, travel insurance, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).
5.3. You will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the trip on the travel dates specified.
5.4. There is no cash alternative for the prize. [ESP reserves the right to substitute the hotel accommodation for accommodation at a hotel of equivalent standard and similarly located to the Chateau.]
5.5. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
6.1. The decision of ESP is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2. ESP will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the closing date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
6.3. The winner of the competition will be announced on the competition website.
7. Claiming the prize
7.1. ESP will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, ESP reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected at random from the highest entries that were received before the closing date.
7.2. ESP does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, ESP, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of ESP, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
9.1. All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to ESP will become the property of ESP on receipt and will not be returned.
9.2. By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to assign to ESP all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee and waive all moral rights in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
9.3. You agree that ESP may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website https://chateaudelamottehusson.co.uk/
and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant ESP a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry for such purposes.
10. Data protection and publicity
By entering the competition, if you are the winner, you agree that ESP may make your name and county available and may use your name and county for publicity purposes without your permission or payment to you.
11.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, ESP may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2. ESP reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
